EDUCATION ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS (EAPs).

As a designated student of a Group Plan (Classic, Quebec Classic and Family Group Plans)you may qualify to receive up to 3 EAPs as you progress through your 2nd, 3rd and 4th academic year. Successful completion of each academic level is required to qualify for continuing payments.

For Classic, Quebec Classic and Family Group Plans, EAPs are calculated by taking the amount of income earned on all agreements with the same year of eligibility and dividing that by the number of units held by all qualifying students in that group. This number is then multiplied by the number of units relating to each specific student.

The government grants (CESG, ACESG, CLB, ACES, QESI), and any income earned on these grants, will be paid in proportion with the EAPs.
