Lisa MacInnis, winner of a $5,000 Postgraduate Award.
Lisa graduated from Cape Breton University, with a Bachelor of Science, Honours Biology and is now pursuing Doctor of Medicine at Dalhousie University. She believes that a career in medicine will enable her to do work in three specific areas of interest – patient care and treatment, community service and research.
