Ausma Ahmed, winner of a $5,000 Postgraduate Award.
Ausma graduated from the University of Toronto, with an Honours Bachelor of Science with high distinction, Physiology. She maintained a cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.7/4.0 (A) while being an active volunteer in the health care sector throughout her undergraduate years. Ausma is now pursuing a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Ottawa.
